I hope my point of view didn’t contribute to your distress as I seem to recall some heated discussions we had after Episode 22.
I try very hard not to be too opinionated when joining the open discussion, and I try my best to listen and to respect others, especially when their ideas are different from mime. However, having been living in the US for too long, my thought process and the way I express myself might be too “American” to some, by that I mean “direct”, “confrontational”, or even “superior”.
In any case, if I have offended you (and others) in any way, it was NOT what I meant to do.   I was merely looking to exchange ideas and communicate difference. And, at NO such a moment, I would consider myself better than others.
I do know that I sound very enthusiastic and mostly positive about “A man called god”, but it is because I genuinely enjoy it and I feel compelled to make others to enjoy it as much as I do. So, if I somehow have forced you and others to accept my views on this drama, please accept my sincere apologies.
I hesitate every time when I think about posting or responding as I can’t always be sure if what I say/write won’t be lost in translation or interpretation. I am not saying this because I don’t think you and other viewers can understand my English, as I know many of you are fluent in English. What worries me is the undeniable barrier of cultural difference – being educated under the influence of western culture for 21/2 of my life, I am probably more an American than I am a Taiwanese. I am not proud of it, so I am working on trying to get back to my roots but it has not been easy.
So, if indeed, I have something or everything to do with your withdrawal from this wonderful forum for Mr. Song, I am sorry and I promise that from now on I will step back and be a reader (which is what I should have done anyway). Your departure is obvious a great loss for everyone and I hope you will re-consider.
