There are still 7 games left for Newcastle to play before the end of the year, and then the transfer window opens on January 1st.

Those 7 games are tough, but how we do in those games will determine just how much Mike Ashley will be forthcoming with the transfer funds in January. Reports say Mike has been unimpressed with the quality of some of the players Sam has brought in during the summer.

But we must pick points up anywhere we can - and we must think we can win every game too.
